    1. If you already have account with Amex, they will offer virtual card that can be added to Apple Pay, mostly within a day. Else most of other banks require mail

Most banks gonna take at least few days for approval and then shipping the card takes another week or so. Your best bet might be calling the bank directly and asking if they can expedite, but even then it’s pretty tight timeline

You could also check if your current bank has any other cards without foreign fees that you could apply for – might be faster since you already have relationship with them

The Chase card I opened last month allowed me to add it to Apple Pay immediately and start using it. If you don’t have your credit reporting frozen, you should get a decision within a minute or two of applying.

    4. My BILT and Robinhood cards were ready as soon as I was approved. Its been hot or miss with AMEX.

      Immediate use:
      – Apple Card
      – Wise Debit card (can get a virtual card and use it as soon as your funds clear)
Your post is vague as to which European countries you’re asking about, but I had no problems using tap to pay within the major metro areas of France or Spain.

I believe the Fidelity card has no foreign transaction fees, and they rush the card to you upon approval.
