Tony Parker's Bitcoin Society paused its accumulation program, citing "structurally unfavorable" conditions. After a 20% Q1 2026 drop, they cannot raise cheap capital to buy more $BTC. That is the MSTR flywheel mechanic failing in real time.

Below $90K, analysts estimate nearly 50% of treasury-holding companies face viability challenges. The math only works when equity premiums hold. When they collapse, the flywheel stops.

This is not a crash signal necessarily, but it is structural: the corporate accumulation tailwind that drove BTC from $60K to $100K is clearly weakening.

At what price do you think corporate treasuries can realistically restart buying?

Everyone is talking about BTC recovering above $80K. Corporate treasury demand just sent a different signal.

Liquidity still doesn’t look strong enough for a major breakout. Inflation at 3.8% makes aggressive easing harder, even if ETF demand is still supporting BTC.

This week’s ETF flows were mostly positive overall, but with some noticeable outflow days too. Right now it feels like institutional demand is holding BTC up while macro liquidity still isn’t fully confirming the move.

Spot on. The gap between institutional ETF demand and macro liquidity is the biggest tension right now Do you think a 3.8% inflation print keeps the ‘higher for longer’ narrative alive enough to kill the breakout momentum?

    3. STRC just ATM sold around 106 million dollars worth over 1300 bitcoin today alone. What are you smoking?

    4. Everyone wants bitcoin to go up now. I just don’t get why you’d want that. You’d struggle to move meaningfully above the prior high. Maybe you do. But then I think you’d see a huge crash and a real damage to sentiment.

Better that we go down. Chill for the rest of the year and start fresh next year. Then we’d have a meaningful chance of hitting 250 or above.

Sounds more like that’s the bitcoin society’s flywheel failing. As long as MSTR cannot raise capital raise capital through their preferred’s their flywheel is still going.

Just let me know when it hits its peak high price so I can panic buy. Until then I don’t care.

    9. It’s a bear market year…. of course bitcoin is not going to recover this year, maybe even next year.

Bitcoin doesn’t go up gradually to ATH the way that some people want it to. It drops down hard then it explodes to ATH within days. Rinse and repeat each cycle
