    1. From the article:

President Trump told reporters on Tuesday that the financial situations of Americans do not motivate him while he is negotiating with Iran.

“Not even a little bit,” Trump said when asked how much he is motivated by Americans’ financial situations to make a deal.

“The only thing that matters when I’m talking about Iran, they can’t have a nuclear weapon,” he continued.

“I don’t think about Americans’ financial situations. I don’t think about anybody. I think about one thing: We cannot let Iran have a nuclear weapon,” he said.

The war in Iran has continued to drive up energy costs and inflation in the U.S. According to AAA, the nationwide average cost of gas is $4.50 per gallon.

Meanwhile, data from the Labor Department released on Tuesday found that the consumer price index (CPI) rose 3.8 percent over the past 12 months and 0.6 percent in April alone.

Trump has maintained that gas prices will drop dramatically once a deal with Iran is made, and even proposed eliminating the gas tax on Tuesday as a means of bringing down gas prices.

But polling shows Americans growing impatient with the president on the issue.

Netanyahu must have some juicy dirt on Trump for this to be his answers. He’s trying to drum up the hysteria that will make it so anything is does will be excusable to remove the claimed future threat. Trump is stuck in some kind of 1960s era thinking that nuclear weapons are an offensive weapon. Even North Korea has them and the USA is the only country to have ever used one on another country.

    3. Why would he? Seriously, I don’t like Trump any more than the rest of you, but the idea that the United States should make long term geopolitical concessions in response to temporary cost increases that primarily impact discretionary spending is… silly.

But if “midnight hammer” or whatever that bombing raid a few months ago completely obliterated their nuclear program like we were told, why did we need to start “epic furry”?

I genuinely hate this guy more than anyone I’ve ever hated in my life. The truest villain in my life. I’ll never forgive him for all the years I’ve wasted having to live under his rulership. I hope he burns for eternity once he finally passes.

How can GOP not to extinct with sentiments like that? Are there that many fascists out there? That aside, I am skeptical that Trump thinks at all.

    7. He doesn’t think about Americans’ financial situations, ever. It’s about how he can enrich his own family, his buddies, and making monuments to himself. He hasn’t made any decisions at all that have made American financial lives better, sans the above.
