For me, many times I am easily affected by noises ( Be it news, convo with friends, analysts) and end up doubting my own thesis and making wrong decisions. Its still a work in process for me to learn to tune out all these noises and trust in myself.

Not investing in Semis early enough
I started with crypto futures then i became gambling addict. 8 years of investing wasted.
K1s are a massive pain in the ass and brokerages don’t warn you about tax treatment.
physical asset funds pay their fees by selling a fraction of their assets. you have to pay taxes on the realized gains that you didn’t collect. and usually, you have to calculate the cost basis yourself.
Not investing earlier. I had money sitting uninvested in a Roth IRA, a brokerage account, and in a checking account gaining 0.25%. I missed the COVID dip and tariff dip. The lack of knowledge caused me to miss out on 100%s of gains.
