Classic bear trap situation right here. I was delivering food yesterday and saw this exact sign at some office building – made me think about all the bears who thought they were so smart buying puts after the rally. Market makers really know how to play this game, they let everyone pile into puts and then just keep pumping it higher. Meanwhile I’m sitting here with my small calls from last week watching this madness unfold. The metaphor is too perfect though, bears really did push their way in but now they’re stuck holding bags that keep getting heavier every green day
