I want to spend a few weeks next year traveling and was wondering about a good plan to save enough to cover my expenses and the cost of traveling. My rent and bills are around $2500. I’m aiming for a place I can surf, read, and relax for 2-3 weeks.

Calculate how much you need, then divide by the number of months till the trip.
That tells you how much you need to save per month. If you can’t save at least that much in the first month, the trip can’t happen.
