ss is shit policy. retirement account subsidies are shit policy. There is nothing just about poverty and the threat of destitution. We need to stop creating policy built around systemic poverty.

I mean that’s why 401Ks were set up and pensions taken away. People living paycheck to paycheck aren’t going to be able to put a lot into those 401ks. However they do boost the stock market for the rich
