“If insured” means absolutely nothing. Ive never not had health insurance and surgeries in my family have cost anywhere from literally $0 to over $20,000 depending on what (shitty) insurance provider we had at the time

For profit health insurance is a disease that needs to be eradicated.

But it’s absolutely scary the health lottery that we are one bad Tuesday away from going to the hospital and racking half a million or more in medical costs.
