Can anyone argue that the individual American should bear so much on their own?

    2. “If insured” means absolutely nothing. Ive never not had health insurance and surgeries in my family have cost anywhere from literally $0 to over $20,000 depending on what (shitty) insurance provider we had at the time

    3. People often dread about retirement and having money (none) for it.

But it’s absolutely scary the health lottery that we are one bad Tuesday away from going to the hospital and racking half a million or more in medical costs.
