I got a text message today that said:
Ollo Card: Hi MYNAME, your due date passed. Make a payment of $27.00 at ollocard.com. Message frequency varies. Reply HELP for help. Text STOP to quit. Msg&DataRatesMayApply.
I called the help number and they said that it was probably a wrong number because they couldn't find my account but the fact it had my name exactly (it's a strange spelling of a common name) has me freaked out.
Has this happened to anyone else??
Edit: Apparently either ally or ollo bought out the debt when plusfinace closed. I had to talk to several people between the two companies before anyone figured it out.
Ollo/Ally messaged me that I'm past due but I've never had a card?

Check if it’s actually from the bank and not just a phishing message. You can pull a copy of your credit reports to be safe, but realistically it just sounds like someone used your number to sign up. What did customer support say to do besides saying it was a wrong number? The customer support line you called was from the official website and not that text right?
