I am Ratul Puri, a blockchain developer in Bangalore, India, and I have been closely following the rapid growth of blockchain technology across the world. Recently, I’ve been reading a lot about how the U.S. is becoming one of the biggest markets for blockchain innovation, Web3 startups, crypto infrastructure, and enterprise adoption.
From what I understand, many U.S. companies are now using blockchain not only for cryptocurrency projects, but also for areas like finance, supply chain management, healthcare, gaming, digital identity, and cybersecurity. I have also noticed increasing investments in AI integrated blockchain platforms, decentralized finance, and tokenized assets.
At the same time, I keep hearing mixed opinions about U.S. regulations, developer opportunities, startup funding, and the long term future of Web3 in the country. Some people say the U.S. offers huge growth potential for developers and entrepreneurs, while others believe regulations are still creating uncertainty.
As someone working in blockchain development, I would genuinely like to understand the current situation better from people who are already part of the industry or closely following it.

What opportunities do blockchain developers currently have in the U.S. and which sectors do you think will grow the most over the next few years?

I am Ratul Puri and I am interested to know what opportunities the U.S. currently offers to blockchain developers

The market here is pretty solid right now especially for developers with solid experience like you seem to have. Most opportunities I see are in DeFi and enterprise solutions – companies are finally moving past just crypto trading into real world applications

Healthcare and supply chain are huge growth areas from what I’ve been seeing. The regulatory stuff is messy but it’s getting clearer slowly. Banking sector is also opening up more than people expected few years back

One thing to keep in mind is that remote work is still common in this space so you might not even need to relocate initially. Many companies are happy to work with international developers on contract basis first
