It’s understandable the FOMO of wanting to own MU or Sandisk, but why risk it all when you can simply be on the trend? This reminds me of crypto, where everyone gets into the new thing instead of simply holding the biggest asset, the boring Bitcoin.

You may get MU and it may 3x, or you may get it and dump 50%. With the ETF you get the entire trend, regardless of what happens with memory. The Semis ETF rebalances, adds new companies and changes percentages of each company, you will own Nvidia, MU and every other winner.

I believe the trend is here to stay with AI, with robotics and whatever comes next, the world needs semis, more now than ever before, and more tomorrow than today. The industry has stopped being cyclical, it’s an exponential growth industry.

Real trends and bubbles can exist at the same time.

The internet changed the world, but most dot-com stocks still collapsed. AI may dominate the next decade, but that doesn’t mean every semi stock is priced rationally today.

    2. Only regards invest in ETFs. You can just look up what the ETF owns and not pay the ETF’s fee. ETF’s are just another way to help keep CFPs in business. Wrong sub

Wise words, indeed. But……….it’s about the entry point. AI agents and robots may be the future, but becoming a bag holder as the hedge funds unload their most profitable positions, may kill your portfolio.
