Edit: I was pre approved for all of the capital one cards so I accepted the Venture X offer as I saw it is harder to get down the line if I were to get Savor first. Was approved for 10k. My plan is to then get the Savor Card in about 6 months.

ADDITIONAL INFO
I don't travel a lot in the past but I do want to start traveling. I like perks like lounges or freebies. I am an authorized user for my mom's Capital One Venture Card. I keep trying to get credit increases through discover and keep getting denied for some time. I would rather get a new everyday card that gets me a lot of points (I do not really care about cash back). I am not confident I will get into Amex. I have a past history with Capital One due to previous car loan and my mom's card. I do not like Chase. I have not used CC to pay for rent before, but I would be open to it for points. I have a lot of school loans so thats why my credit is low. Should I try to get the Blue Cash to get to the Gold?
