    1. So misleading, the damage is already done. Ol’ Donald has guaranteed high prices all summer thanks to absolutely obliterating the supply line. No recovery will look as good as we had it before he fought with Iran

    2. For all the conspiracy theorists, who are sure it's all just "market manipulation",
maybe YOU should try to produce someone that everyone needs, when armed groups are fighting to make sure you fail.
Grow a field of tomatoes, tell me what the price will be when you plant the seeds, and I get to come by and throw round up at them with half the country cheering me on.

    3. So it will drop the cheap gallon price of $3.50. This is still extremely unreasonable. If it doesn't hit $1.25 we're still being gouged hard.

    4. Like each of the previous posts said… it’s a scam. The wife, and I, went to Sam’s to fill up yesterday. To my surprise, it was already under $4 a gallon. Mind you, just filled up about a week prior, and it was approximately $$4.13 if I remember correctly. Was $3.75 yesterday… wish I’d had some bottles to fill with gas. Prices haven’t been that low in some time.

Imagine what the regular stations were charging. Smh…

    5. Creating a problem and then pretending to solve the problem is the mo of this administration. There was a reason that other administrations on both sides of the aisle didn’t start a war with Iran. We had as deal that was working and somebody’s ego got in the way.

    6. I am an intelligent person who can make my own conclusions about how gas prices are moving and how fast. But incidentally, I can no longer rely on CBS as a credible source of information – this "press release" sounds like an administration talking point to me.
