Only got know that this card existing because of this community. Here’s the timeline of how I did it: I opened a Wells Fargo Everyday Checking account to take advantage of the $325 sign-up bonus. After the tax credit posted, I upgraded the account to a Premier Checking account. The Premier Checking account normally requires a $250,000 balance to avoid the monthly maintenance fee, but I only had about $2,500 in the account.
Later, I received an in-app offer for the Wells Fargo Autograph Premier card with a 100,000-point sign-up bonus with in hours of updating the checking account. I applied, and the application initially went into pending review. After about two days, I was approved with an 27k credit limit.
For context, my FICO score is 790. I currently have six credit cards: two from Bank of America, one from Citi, one from Chase, one from Fidelity, and one from Capital One. My total available credit limit is around 150k, which is more than my annual income.
THANK YOU! Got approved for Wells Forgo Premier Autograph for 100K Sub

are you planning to downgrade the account back if that’s even an option? do they even let you keep the premier version if you don’t have premier checking?
Did you have the requisite amount in total assets with WF for premier? Curious about this because I’d love to get the autograph
I’m thinking about doing this but I would like more DP’s to see if WF let’s you keep the card even if you downgrade.
Can you post a picture of the premier card? I’ve never seen one.
