First I thought Newegg is just about electronics because that is what they advertise on their website but when I explicitly started searching some items in the Newegg I see it has lot more than that like household items, kitchen items, bathroom items, even baby items.
Paze $10 on $10 offer, I just realized Newegg has more value than Sephora or Dunkin’ that everyone talk about.

I’ve gotten a lot of cheap stuff there like cell phone cases, accessories, cheap travel headsets, power cords, cables etc…
Most of those items are priced higher and drop-shipped from Amazon.
People do dunkin because you can redeem $10 gift card to get them effectively for “free” on the paze $10 for $10+ promo.
On the sephora side there’s also lots of things you can order that are just over $10, so very little out of pocket.
Newegg you start limiting yourself on the amount of stuff you can get and get shipped to your house for just over $10 in 1 order. Not that there arent things you couldnt pickup, its just tougher.
Now if you’re looking at something you really **need** that’s say $30 shipped to your house on newegg, then the promotion still makes a ton of sense to take 1/3 off the price. Buying a bunch of stuff on newegg you dont need at all to spend money just to use the $10 off promo is a waste obviously unless you really want to get to selling a lot of individual items
