    Two years ago I made quite the frugal mistake and bought single ply TP, today I just opened my last roll.


    Basically 2 years ago I had my first bulk store membership (sams club). I bought this toilet paper without really reading it. All the words looked impressive enough, Long lasting , 1000 sheets per roll. Little did I know it was single ply.

    Im a single dude and this pack has lasted me sooooooo long. The toilet paper at my work is better than this stuff lol.

    The kicker is, I just bought a home last month and I hear single ply is great for your plumbing so I kinda want to continue now that im used to it.

      If you have bidets for your toilets, single ply won’t be so bad. Also infinitely more frugal.

      my old roommate did this with shitty paper towels and then left them for me when she moved out. i can’t WAIT for the day when the last one is gone. congrats.

      I only buy the Scott’s lmao I just bundle up and it seems to last me forever

      I’m weird I like this better, we had a septic tank going up so I always used this.

      I feel like all the cushy, quilted paper disintegrates and leaves me with a linty undercarriage.

      The cheapest single ply are cheaper per use than my wife’s Charmaine Ultra Soft, so we have both in the bathroom. I just fold the single ply over.

      I’ve been using Scott’s for decades. Really good for the septic system and the wallet. It’s just tp at this point 🤷🏼

      We got a bidet right after my wife brought a bunch of this home. I cannot wait to see (through) the end of it. Shit product.

      How many rolls did you buy?! 100? I use this because it helps avoid clogs in the toilet and go through about a roll a week.

      I switched from Cottonelle to Scott Comfort Plus a few years ago. It has a similar texture (though not nearly as soft), and it works well for me – and is only single ply.

      That said, blue bag Cottonelle is also single ply.

      In mid 2020, all of my local stores ran out of TP. The next week was rough. My daughters bf called me one morning at 4am and told me to get my butt over to his store because they got a shipment in. By the time I got there – 20 minutes later – there was one big pack of single ply left. It lasted me a good 9mo. I never stopped buying it because it’s half the price of everything else, and it does work.

      The only downside is that I have to keep regular tp for guests. Two people have told me they can’t believe I use “prison paper”.
