Is starting investing worth it in the current market?

I have just begun investing and have made my first round of trades for long term holding. I want to know if people who know more than me think it would be better to see where the market goes with AI and whatnot before putting in even more money. Just curious what people think of beginning to invest in the current market. Less personal advice and more of where people think the current market is headed without the obvious that nothings certain.
