I made it because I kept seeing people ask things like “How much would solar actually save me?” or “What incentives do I qualify for?” and I wanted a simple way to check. It also gives you a quick quote if you want one — nothing fancy, just a straightforward estimate based on your home and local incentives. Nice little tool. The layout’s clean, which is rare for these kinds of calculators. Have you thought about adding a degradation slider? Most panels lose about 0.5% efficiency per year and that really eats into the long term savings projections most calculators ignore.
