The Trump Tongue Twist and what it actually means

Body language and facial expressions can often tell us more than the words themselves…

Step by step –

– watch the first 13 seconds of this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DqP_g_SCT5E and you will notice two things happen:

Trump starts by saying: "It's open now; look the only one that has control over the strait of Hormuz right now is the United States navy" followed by a (1) tongue jut.

"the blockade, its a steel wall…" followed by (2) looking down.

So effectively –

(1) The tongue jut

In this context its a sarcasting tongue-in-cheek – pushing the tongue to one side or into the cheek right after speaking can indicate that what was just said shouldn't be taken completely seriously.

(2) Looking down

In this context – either a) If someone feels guilty or ashamed about the lie they are telling, they will look down to avoid eye contact or b) Lying is hard work for the brain. The liar has to invent a story, remember facts, and make it sound real. They may look down at the floor to block out visual distractions so they can think clearly.

Effectively US has no control over Hormuz, everything is a pipe dream of his own making, smoking that pipe, still does not change the fact that powers that are (playing the long game) need Trumpino to do what he does best – be a self-absorbed orange.

And since Nukes are now on the table, we are indeed in the end-game… God save us if we deserve it, sadly not many of us do, but what do we know… the whole thing is becoming Idiocracy indeed –
