$19,932.45 student loan debt. Edfinanical is my servicer. Got the email July 4th. Recently adulted and got a bank account preemptively.

Five direct loans. I'll list them in order with their interest.

    1. $3,852.38 – 4.530%
    2. $5,836.14 – 2.750%
    3. $2,122.14 – 2.750%
    4. $5,956.03 – 3.730%
    5. $2,165.76 – 3.730%

Been out of college since 2022, been on SAVE forbearance throughout this entire legal chaos since Biden's term.

Now, job market is hell. At my current job, I'm *trying* to get full-time, only managing part-time at the moment. I've got almost 8K in savings for emergencies. 28M, high-functioning on the spectrum idiot that I am, coddled as a child by my mom. Only these past five years since she died, I've actually had to take care of myself. I'm trying to manage. It's not an excuse, it's just my lot in life.

Last I checked, my 2025 W2 has my annual gross at $16,802.78. I know, not great. Right on the poverty line. It could definitely be better, could be worse. I'm only surviving because I'm living with family.

The RAP plan says my monthly payment could be as low as $14. I've been budgeting and keeping track of my finances the past two months so far. I pay $500 in helping with the utilities, it's a really generous situation. Last month, I saved about $376.

Since I realistically make so little, both the PAYE and IBR plans are at $0. But I'm pretty cautiously optimistic that my job is stable, so I can save a little here and there to not be a broke bum not paying. I don't want to default, either. I am hesitantly resigned to the RAP plan at this point.

However, I keep hearing about autopay and a payment plan waittime of 29 days?

Anyone have any thoughts or advice? Is RAP the best option for me? I've heard about the interest not accruing in this plan, so that could be huge for me. Best case scenario, I pay the monthly amount, maybe a little bit more here and there to get the lowest loan amount knocked out eventually and just go from there?

Will try and provide extra info if needed, or if this is enough?

    Need repayment plan advice please!

I would hop on Rap. Payment is extremely low and is basically free money from the government. Interest will be waived as well as a matching principle payment of $14. 100% the best option in my opinion.
