I was offered $100 statement credit on $2k+ spend per month over three months. Wonder if this is a good offer. I have not decided on product change (AA MileUP was the only option) or keeping it. What's your thought?

Spending $6k for $100 is a terrible offer, even if you already planned on keeping the card.
I’m keeping the card because I think it’s worth it but I’m not taking that offer.
Not a great offer. If you love the card and plan to keep it anyway, sure. But if not $100 for $6k spend is horrible
$100 statement credit + $200 splurge credit + $300 hotel credit gets you to the fee, even before things like 6x Citi Nights dining points. I’d think hard about it unless I had more travel portal credits than I knew how to deal with on other cards.
$6k spend to unlock it is terrible though. Now I’m reconsidering.
I have found the Citi hotel portal to have good prices, by the way. Often on par with direct book or places like Priceline, and typically better than some other credit card travel portals.
They only gave you one downgrade option? Previous DP was showing 2 AA cards and the AT&T card as options.
