House panel grills oil company CEOs amid skyrocketing gas prices
A House Energy and Commerce subcommittee questioned executives from BP America, Chevron, Shell, ExxonMobil and other major oil companies about rising gas prices.
Waste of time, nationolise teh commodity market and put a national cap on prices. just leaving it to the market means companies will control a monopoly.

This is what happens when nations sells it natural resources production to private companies who then fleece everyone in the name of greed and profits. Its a monopoly its controlled its fixed, they claim its the market when the truth is they are the market. Lets get honest here calculating the cost of production from ground to pump must be possible so then why not just put a cap on the sale price and job done?
I don’t get why everyone blames a president when the price of gas is up. He has no control. The the companies who sell them that are price gouging. They take any excuse that happens as a reason the raise the price of gas.

There are over 9000 APPROVED oil drilling permits in the US. Sounds to me like the present administration is just passing the buck instead of doing what is right for all Americans. Playing the blame game never accomplishes anything
