Why is a diesel transaction occurring in “tons” and not barrels?
Obvious fabrication This is like 2/3 of the daily demand for diesel in the US, it is about 2.2 million barrels and the US uses about 3.7 million barrels a day. He cannot not even lie credibly.

If we assume “tons” are actually barrels, and the rest of that story is true the total commitment is literally about a week’s supply – for the US alone. So much winning!

Trump’s post (actually just a little above this one on my timeline) says 3,000,000 tons.
Edit: it’s 300,000 tons initially.
So what happens if the Ukrainians make a nice size hole on the underside of those tankers? I am assuming this will be transported from somewhere around Vladivostok, that will be a reach for Ukraine. But, when has that stopped them.
