RH Gold Card Mandatory 30 day waiting period to withdraw cash-back to bank??

I recently got the gold card and I was super excited about it, until I went to redeem the cash back. It's been two full business days since I redeemed ~$5 in cashback to test out the process of redemption to a non Robinhood destination, and I have not been able to withdraw it since. Every source I have found says it should be available immediately, and if not immediately, after a business day or two. Well it's been two, so I reached out to support.

After literally waiting AN HOUR, the second representative tells me the funds must sit in the brokerage account for 30 days, as cashback counts as "rewards" and that it cannot be withdrawn during that time frame.

Has anybody else experienced this? Honestly seems kinda BS for a card that prides themselves on their cashback that you can't even have access to your cashback within a MONTH of earning it.
