Anyone able to get a forbearance after switching off SAVE? My son has expensive Dr bills and I want to get them paid down before worrying about these stupid loans. I know the interest will accrue but I don’t care. I am supposed to pick a plan in Nov.

General forbearance is a thing, but is granted at the discretion of your loan servicer.
