      If they're not sure by now, it's likely to be delayed. But, the closer it gets, the less it really means anyway, as alternatives are popping up everywhere.

      Sooooo eth mining almost over? Should i cancel or at least delay my solar roof? Germany, 0.31 €/kWh, 5x RTX3060 @115W with 49.5 MH/s. I wanted to switch my leasecar to an EV also but there is non available yet… Mining is already barely profitable for me. But I believe in an upswing of the prices in the future.

      I think the best thing would be a mass miner strike the week of? Wouldn’t that force them to delay it? Couldn’t pools vote on shutting off on the main chain? To strike the merge?

      When I get a new-to-me card in for the farm, I put it through it's paces for optimum tuning on ETH. Last week, I started also running tuning tests for other coins as well (Flux, Conflux & Ergo). When I have to start moving rigs over to another coin, I should have a good idea what each card can do so I can save time and maximize profits.

      Good buying opportunity when its switches. There will likely be a drop in price after all the stakers get control of their ETH coins again. A likely dump and then the price will start to come back up. Set aside some cash for the opportunity.

      heh, they are relying on the hashrate continuing to the end… i'm already moving to other coins, I don't hold eth, and they expect miners to continue to support their coin as difficulty spikes. Like really? No thanks, eth is anti-PoW, why would anyone continue to support it besides for profit. Profitability of alternatives such as cortex, conflux, ergo, ravencoin, flux etc are increasing and generally support PoW and continue to promote PoW. RIP eth.

      Funny how you think the merge is coming. BBT seems confident we will be delayed until at least Q1 next year. Other big YouTubers I’m seeing double down on mining, one of them buying a 4GH rig tonight.

      asic mining has become what of a joke nowdays its pretty sad.
      Was looking on BT miners they are selling a goldshell st box for 2280$ thats 4 years and 7 months for ROI let that sink in rip off.
      Miner bros has em for 1599$ even then thats 3 years crazy though

      I have had enough of it, switched to mining Flux and Raven, no stress if Im getting a pay out before it all stops. Now I just let it mine and check in a Few times a week

      Is RVN ever going to move? Or is it tied to ETH merge when the difficulty is expected to increase with a lot more Network power behind it should the price increase along with that?

      I hope it all works out well for GPU miners. Either way it's gonna be interesting watching the transition happen. I have a feeling thing's might not go so smooth…

      Miners need to show the initiative here, move our hashrate away from ethereum building up to the decision time to give us more eth mining time 😀
