The SEC just drew the line on who controls a blockchain

The SEC added three FAQ entries on Monday that say token holders who vote in on-chain governance are generally not a controlling group, so long as they are unaffiliated. Scott Melker walks through what that means for which tokens get treated as commodities, and why staff guidance still is not a rule.

Binance says net outflows have reached $5.28 billion and deposits are now outpacing withdrawals. North Korea denies taking the money. New Jersey rescinded its 2023 order against Coinbase staking, and Brazil’s Mercado Bitcoin halted withdrawals after roughly $40 million was drained across ten chains.

    2. People are putting money into binance because they know if they get hacked their money is safe! So it might actually be a good thing you mean you can buy swap do whatever with Bitcoin and your money is 100% backed you're kidding me

    3. AVAX thesis still very much intact….Forty-nine of the 62 companies initially proposed for OKXICE trading objected to tokenized versions of their shares on that venueβ€”not necessarily to tokenization itself. That could benefit Avalanche if issuers favor customizable networks with greater control over access and compliance. It creates an opening for Avalanche
