Today Doug Casey is joined by Scott Osheroff, a fund manager for Asia Frontier Capital and focused on Uzbekistan.

As you’ll see, Scott makes such a compelling case during this interview that both Doug and I decided to invest in his fund.

    1. "Finding value" is a meaningless phrase.

A value is a ratio, of one thing for another. One either is an investor or a speculator. If investor, one ought to be looking for discounted profit.

Finding where the crowd is going to run to next before the crowd runs is what speculators do.

Uzbekistan has favorable demographics but only until 2067.

Uzbekistan per cap GDP $1685.76. It is poor. It could grow, but there are better opportunities over the 18 years elsewhere in Asia.

    2. Uzbekistan will partly privatize several state companies, including Uzbekneftegaz, Thermal Power Plants, Uzbekistan Airways and automaker UzAuto Motors

    3. Superb interview guys love your ability to get such diverse guests and dive into these gems, this is why Doug and Matt are the “shizzle’!

    4. This is very interesting and it seems very very undervalued! Where can you find something with PE of 2, growth rate of 500%, dividends of 20% plus. Seems like a no brainer to me so what am I missing?

    5. Its always goes back dictatorship when money and the globalists/industrial complex wants the resources.you can guarantee it. There is that word again “diversified “ I’m waiting to hear sustainablity. Then you are screwed. What does Gates have invested there, or the WELLCOME trust. Digitized danger ⛔️. WEF.

    6. I wonder how would a westerner who brings goodwill from Australia or NZ would get on in a country like Uzbekistan? Doug has given me the dream of travelling to strange lands getting in adventures along the way, id dearly love to visit a country like this.. oh wait we're still not allowed to leave our own country SMFH

    7. Do any up and coming development leaders have trained in Klaus Schwaub young leaders program, I’m being serious.

    8. I worked in Uzbekistan from August 2002 through October 2006. Good luck with the hookers and grifters. You had to buy wooden pulp toilet paper from the little old ladies standing outside the public restrooms. Watch out for the splinters!

    9. In Uzbekistan it seems like unravelling the note Moorish ancient civilization Tartarian architecture is coming up again greens and blues…. The silk routes underground meridians are pulsing with energy and the ancient plumbing rejuvenating. The metro station in Uzbekistan looks like Tartaria before Amazing beauty. Thank you guys for sharing and putting the light on it. Great interview 🙏🏼

    10. Enjoyed Doug’s informed questioning here. I like the format, would suggest deep dives into other frontier countries too.

    11. Interestingly he did not point out it was a main silk road route, important place for the Road and belt initiative, major trading partner is Russian and China

    12. Overseas contracting has become more of a bureaucratic undertaking than a pursuit of the daring. The multinationals would rather hire a bunch of pedantic checklist followers and thread pullers from the subcontinent or the Balkans than hairy chested life takers and heart breakers from the US or SA.

    13. 😊I am so happy my financial life has totally changed ever since I ventured into stock investment. I've been earning over $18,000 dollars every single week.

    14. I wish you guys would have asked them about what NGOs are present in the country. So many of these former Soviet states are littered with them. When they don't like the foreign policy of the ruling government the US government run NGOs will start a color revolution. It was attempted in Belarus, Ukraine twice, and Kazakhstan (in January this year).

    15. I will forever be indebted to you, you've changed my whole life continue to preach about your name for the world,to hear you've saved me from a huge financial debt with just little investment, Thank you so much, Mrs Sonia Dickson
