A FORMULA to Predict Crypto PRICE???

What if we had a simple formula that you could use to calculate the rough price for any crypto? Just a simple way to tell if a coin was so far away from a reasonable, educated target? Well, I have created a formula to do just that using the coin money supply. Using a sample of alts and their price against bitcoin we can find a line with an r-squared of 0.67. The formula is 493167 * {The total money supply}^-0.923. There are reasons why each coin will be above or below this line, but on the whole this is a pretty good gut check on how price will work out on average.

A couple of shout outs are Cosmos (ATOM), VeChain (VET), Verge (XVG), PIVX, Ravencoin (RVN), Harmony (ONE) vs Bitcoin (BTC)

  1. Funny watching your video now, I thought about taking profits this morning at 13,700k and hesitation took the better of me, learning with mistakes I guess… I'm waiting to see if 13,200k is going to be our support or if we are going to go down find support in our last resistence of 12,400k.
    Nice video as always

  2. Thank you for this video. Your mention of coin age brought a question to my mind. With your experience, and I'm not asking you to tell me what to do, but with your experience, what would you do with the new SPARK token, soon to be distributed to holders of XRP?

  3. Thanks Calvin. You always pull up interesting metrics by which to measure coins' values.
As for the T-shirts, Bitcoin has value because of it's rarity so if I were you I'd give them out sparingly. Maybe one for the top comment, or perhaps for suggesting a coin that you decide to cover?
Or even for suggestions on how best to give out the T-shirts (ahem, ahem).
Keep on Rockin bro. The vids are awesome.

  4. If I understand this correctly and you're charting all these coins "against" the BTC marketcap, wouldn't that mean that these average prices are relative to the BTC market cap? In other words if the BTC's marketcap grows bigger overtime so would the average prices of these altcoins. So if for example ATOM is overpriced right now, if it remains steady while BTC's market cap grows, at some point it would be fairly priced at this price point, right?

Thanks for the video, very interesting!
