I'm here to stack SATs. I feel good putting additional money into bitcoin. It's either going to be there or in my bank losing money. These are the times where people normally say, "oh man! If the price was that low, I would have JUMPED in!" However, this are going to be the same people saying the price is too high!
Reasons your emotions will override logic: 1: You staked more $ than you could really afford 2: You think markets only go up (see Portnoy), 3: You bought a top or close to it 4: You have a get-rich quick mindset vs. an investment mindset (You FAILED to ZOOM out)
Truth
Last year we all got spoiled with so much money going into crypto; even a monkey could make money last year. This year is a whole different beast with so many variables negatively affecting EVERYTHING, so I've given up on things magically returning to 2021 crypto party time mode. I'm buying the dips and accumulating without any expectations of significant returns in the short run. I'm looking to 2024 and beyond.

Rob, you’re genuinely one of the very few people I respect in this space & come to watch daily. It’s stupidly clear there’s a pattern here. We’re in a bear market & anyone thinking these ticks up are a turnaround need to reevaluate their method. I’m DCA’ing, I have patience with a 3-5 year trajectory, & couldn’t be happier every time it goes down. There’s times in the day when it’s lowest, if it bumps up 4% you can be sure it’s coming down the next 48 hrs, & don’t spend all your dang money!
ONE SUGGESTION | when it does tick up, I notice you’ll celebrate it & say it’s a good day, but we know it’s a bot/algorithm doing it so I think to be even closer to reality just say that instead of calling it a good day because that can get people who clearly don’t see patterns to feel overly positive. I’m just some guy.
