The chlorine shortage is going to cause me to go out of a job. The only thing I can do is prepare, possibly stockpile some chemicals so I can service my customers after the business I work for closes but if they aren't making chlorine then that will dry up as well.

Damn I'm a truck driver. So far I been busy, I hope I can stay employed. I had a solid plan to pay off my last student loan of 54k. Losing job would definitely derail this.
Truckers charge less but their costs are still rising. US diesel prices are up over $2/gallon in the last 12 months and are the 3rd highest prices ever. So profit margins for truckers are getting a double whammy and collapsing/compressing (margin compression).
