    Gas prices help fuel fears of a recession



    Rising gas prices led to a shrinking economy in the first quarter of this year. Democrats on Capitol Hill believe this could lead the U.S. into another recession. Nancy Cordes reports from the White House.

      Alert !! Secret Service, Supreme Court and DOJ are compromised!

      since January 6 2021 not one single Republican lawmaker has been held accountable for their insurrection actions. they will win re-election if not arrested and they will cause more chaos. Put an end to the Trumpist Republicans

      The world has greater peril from those who tolerate evil, like the DOJ, than from Trump and his fellow insurrectionist! DOJ Garland is ending democracy by not prosecuting Trumpist.

      2. DOJ Garland is afraid of what might happen to himself
      3. DOJ Garland is afraid to do his job and wants others to Pursue Trump in Civil Court

      promised to hold Trump insurrectionists accountable, but he has not done so for the insurrection leaders and he is not cooperating with all other justice departments.
      Garlands plan is to wait out the clock so he can say, oh we just couldn't get to it in time

      mark meadows says he lived in a n. Carolina mobile home he has never lived in. what would a multimillionaire be doing living in a mobile home…..what a cheat, but he is being investigated for this voter fraud crime.

      4. inciting violence Jan 6 ……DOJ Failed

      5. ToiletGate – trump destroyed government documents and took secret documents home after losing his job! see presidential records act for details of the law he violated. It is well documented that Trump stole secrete document from the White House.

      9. kelly ward and spouse and others, impersonating as government electors even after Barr and Pence said one could not do that……DOJ Failed

      10. Jeffrey Clark – co-conspirator for trying to weaponized the department of justice to overturn the election

      11. Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act applies to what Trump did.

      12. what about enforcing the 14th amendment of the Constitution of the United States? get rid of Cawthorn under section 3 of the 14th Amendment

      alvin bragg is another DA that supports Trumpism. Trump committed a crime and is not being prosecuted. New York should remove bragg from office.

Ginni Thomas, the conservative activist who’s married to Supreme Court justice Clarence Thomas, repeatedly pressed Trump’s White House chief of staff to pursue efforts to overturn the 2020 election

      American's pay less for all types of fuel than any other western country so quit your whining. The hours long commute to work from the burbs, the gas guzzling pickup or SUV or the 75-85 mph highway speed limit is not such a good idea any more is it?

      People are driving gas guzzling giant SUVs and pickup trucks (if not for work purposes) for the purpose of boosting their image insecurities. That wasteful and massive demand is jacking up prices and destroying the environment at the same time. If you don't like high gas prices, you can blame these insecure people for their vanity.

      You think 4,15$/Gallon is expensive?
      Oh man I am from Germany and the average price is 2,20€ (lets pretent is equal to $). So 3,78 Liter is a Gallon what makes 2,20€ x 3,78L = 8,31$/Gallon.
      No hate, but USA is cheap on fuel. Always will be.

      I don't buy too much gas I have a Pruis I fill it with 25 get 500 miles before I was filling with 15 . I park at gas station and watch those with pick up trucks and watch there faces .

      Hey, CBS. How about you do your job and inform the American people why gas prices are high instead of playing up the politics of it and leaving people confused. You aren't given special protections by the constitution to make money and foster ignorance.
