    1. If this was filmed a year ago, then this is innocently optimistic, but in todays context, she's shilling for a massive system of scamming and theft

    2. The amount of people screaming Scam shows the amount of people who truly don’t understand the NFT market. Online reality will become every bit as important to our children as the internet is to us now.

    3. "This new automated tool that allows for guaranteed proof of origination and ownership of music, videos, images, and even text is called an NFT" That is only true if you can provide a step-by-step guide on how to find out the original author of any digital good. Surprise, NFTs cannot do that. If you find a file on the internet, and you want to find out its origins, NFTs are not going to help you. Now you just have to check multiple blockchains in addition to what you have done in a world without NFTs, and even then you cannot be sure because anyone can "mint" any digital good on any blockchain. It's possible that you don't find it on any blockchains, it is possible you find it on multiple blockchains with different authors, and even then the real author will probably not be among them. But ok let's say you get everybody to agree on using the same blockchain, and to utilize fingerprinting for integrity protection. Then what happens if I take the good and slightly change a single pixel? Did I create new art? The blockchain will say yes, but people will say no. NFTs are not a proof of origination of the digital good, you have to search for their "intrinsic value" elsewhere, and please tell me if you found it.

    4. NFTs are just a cringey scam. The only people pushing it are grifters and corporations. The technology isn't even there to make anything compelling.

And before someone tells me I just don't understand it I can make my own block chain in 30 minutes, I do understand it. And it's a scam. NFTs don't sell art, just garbage receipts worth nothing.

    5. It ridiculous how most peope are convinced NFTs as a whole are a scam.
Plus the ignorance and refusal to even remotely consider listening to people who want to say otherwise.

Stay ignorant, meanwhile the rest of us are making more money then any 'real' job could give you.

    6. Their is so much wrong with this video, This video definitely missed the hype on NFT's by a couple of months, The amount of people who actually buy NFT's is incredibly low when in comparison to people who own Crypto. Many people has come to despise NFT's with the amount of scams that happen on a regular basis. Many game developers have come out against NFT's in theit games. Don't buy into this ship that has already sunk

    7. The big upside of NFTs to me are the co ownership of companies and collective action put on a public immutable record on the Blockchain. Look up DAOs, they are the future of horizontally structure systems

    8. This whole speech seems more like an advertisement for her institute than an objective take on the medium. TED, you should be ashamed.
