When I filled mine up yesterday it was $1121 so yes, this is getting out of hand.
Just a suggestion if all truckers parked their trucks for a week or more. You can bet that the price will drop big time. We have to take a stand. Or it's gonna get ugly.
A single freight train can deliver as much cargo as 300 semi-trailer trucks, with fuel anywhere from 1.5x to 10x better. If we're going to burn diesel at all, it should be in trains.
Well the truckers can't move loads at a loss so the end price of goods will have to rise in order to compensate them sufficiently. This is inflation at it's most explainable.
