Being a Gold Stacker is a great hedge against inflation and a great way to protect your wealth for your future. But which is the best gold to buy?

Is the US Mint American Gold Eagle the best gold coin? Or the Royal Canadian Mint Gold Maple Leaf, Royal Mint Gold Britannia, the Perth Mint Gold Coins, or the Austrian Mint Gold Philharmonic?

I share 6 reasons why the gold I choose is the best for me.

Being a stacker is about being independent and about personal responsibility, so it might make sense to not even buy precious metals at this time. Having an emergency cash savings fund is important as well as paying off debt. Only you know your own financial situation.

    1. I don't buy the hometown coin, American Eagle, because of higher premiums and increased tax liability. I buy Brittania's, because of low premiums and not on IRS list of coins (like Eagle and Maple Leaf) for taxes. I get 1/10th Brittania

    2. My favorite is the 1/4 oz proof gold eagle, especially the roman numeral years. I only have a few of them. I have a bunch of the 1/10 oz proof AGEs. The proof strike really makes the design pop in my opinion.

    3. Guys If i could give any advice. Stay away from graded BU Eagles..Dont pay 50 dollars more for a bullion coin in a pcgs holder. It is worth no more to a coin shop when selling.

    4. All sizes of Gold Eagles are my favorites, and as many of them as I can get my hands on (afford). Seriously though, if my budget would allow it, the full 1 oz Eagle would be my top choice, due to its hefty feel in the hand, and the clarity of beauty it affords being on the largest canvas.

    5. I couldn't agree more, the AGE is a great gold stacking coin! I do prefer the Buffalo over the AGE in full ounce coinage but as you know- no fractional Buffalos past the 2008's.

    6. Presently, we can still find 1/10 AGE at 210, or the 1/4oz at 515.
I can’t bring myself to wait and buy a one oz once or twice a year. I guard my premiums well, and only buy on sale. When Au rises (like they did since I bought 1/10 AGE, Pandas and maples for 120 a few years ago. I’m nearing a tube of 20 1/10 AGE. I like the 1/10 and 1/4 oz…AGE, Britannia, The War in the Pacific series (very cheap) and maples when on sale. The Phil’s are always at a good price too. Good vid Heist!

    7. I agree! I think the American Gold Eagle is best too! But I like the classic reverse vs. the new one

    8. Whole hartily disagree. In most of America.? . it would be the brittania! … learn much, U must pattawon. Your just regurgitating bs…. and not thinking.

    9. My favorite gold coin for looks is the $10 gold Indian. For stacking it's the gold Buffalo. Unfortunately my favorite size is the 1/4 ounce which means both of those coins are out. When I want 1/4 ounce I end up buying Maples since they are one of my best options. Thanks!
