There will be several serious price drivers for cryptocurrencies in 2018. The digital currencies with the largest market capitalizations, such as Bitcoin and Etherium and Ripple, should really soar higher, but not until many of the hundreds of second tier cryptos vanish.
The market is too fragmented right now, and it is completely saturated. However, when many of the secondary cryptos go away (for good), then the major ones with the greatest digital currency market cap will increase very strongly in price.
