    1. demand during covid was up toys were selling at all time high.the government controls big oil and vice versa.the fed controls inflation they are illegal banking cartel.agenda 2030 is here look it up total enslavement.

    2. Mike, very good job. Would like to add, that the abundant supply of energy in America of wood, coal, and oil is one of the major reasons that made the USA Great.

    3. Good job Mike! I feel you hit the nail on the head. Unfortunately we have politicians running our country that only care about their own agendas, and not about those who pay their salaries.

    4. The one thing that needs clarified is that Keystone was never shut down. The XL Extension that was to be connected to the existing Keystone pipeline was less than 10% complete when it was stopped in 2021, and would have taken several years to be operational. So the claims about Keystone, as you said, have nothing to do with rising oil prices.

    5. First let me start out by saying I love your videos and watch them everyday. However, you stating that corporate greed is not one of the main problems is not correct! Just this last quarter Shell oil posted their profits at like 9.1 billion dollars, thats almost three times the amount from the same time last year. I don't know about everyone else, but common sense tells me that those kind of numbers point out corporate greed. Think of it like this…. if they cut that 9.1 billion profit in half, they still would have almost doubled their profit from last year and just think what impact that alone would have on fuel prices right now…. just sayin

    6. Thanks Mike for giving it a shot. Good job. I’m turning 70 in a few months and lived through inflation , high gas, no gas, and seeing people without jobs. As always the frustration people are going through and have gone through is caused by not feeling there is a plan to fix the problem. Not a blame game, not it’s out of my control and not just saying we’ll see things get better by themselves. Worked for 56 years in several businesses and problem got fixed by problem solvers and well thought out action plans created by identifying cause and effect, not by wishful talking points. Reduce where you can on buying and driving. If we all slow down and think how we can achieve these two things we, the people will effect change in a positive way for ourselves and this country.

    7. I agree with most of what you said and in fact I explained it nearly the exact same way to a group just a few days ago. I would add that if you can swing battery backed solar and an electric car then you will no longer be dependent on oil. Thanks!

    8. Hello there Mike, Like you, I use to work in the oil business. I was a light crane operator working for a company called Brown&Root in New Orleans. We built offshore rigs then they were floated out into the Gulf of Mexico.
Long story short, when I began working as an operator, (1977), there were about 5,000 operating wells in the Gulf and the Gulf States. I ended my oil field work in 1986 as a truck driver pulling drill pipe and hauling it back to the companies who owned it. At the end of those hay days, all but about 1500 of those wells had been capped off. The drillers were drilling as fast as they could with orders of, "Drill to 10K feet and DO NOT BRING THE WELL IN!" Now, you are a smart man and can look up all of this info, but what I am wondering is, Why are we drilling new wells when all they need to do is UNCAP ALL THOSE WELLS IN THE GULF AREA? God knows those southern states could use the jobs and money!
May God continue to bless you and your family and give Hunter a big hug!

    9. I think you gracefully covered a big ticket Political issue. Oil Dependency is critical issue – We simply do not have a viable replacement at the moment. I would fully support research into alternatives funded by fuel taxes, but as of now, we simply cannot stop using fossil fuels. Lithium is no panacea – the mining operations are brutal and expensive, recycling used batteries is dangerous and toxic.

    10. Very well said! Really appreciated the info in a non bias way. Will share with my “let’s just eletrify everything now” friends.

    11. Mike, you're right in many points, but the one major point you did make is on target… people do lack common sense. Not only people lack common sense in many facets of social media, but in lack common sense in how the marketplace works in various industries including oil and gas. I have told everyone that will listen to me… it does NOT matter who is President of the USA at whatever economic situation is… the President does NOT have on iota of any influence on the oil and gas markets. Your everyday Joe or Jane who lack common sense will blame the President for high prices of oil and gas. That is farthest from the truth. Look what is going on with the 'baby formula' situation. Ignorant people are blaming the President for this shortage, but the real facts are, baby formula recall due to bacteria and its impact on manufacturers, ongoing supply and chain issues, and government red tape that has been in effect for decades. Bottom line… it's all about common sense. For the love of God and Country, people please USE COMMON SENSE when it comes to understanding the things that goes on around your neighborhood and the rest of the country.

    12. Mike, loved he video, for a minute I thought I was listening to myself talk….. I spent 43 years in oil and gas in manufacturing and then senior management and you are 100% correct in your comments.

    13. Mike, without a doubt that was definitely the most accurate and correct perception of today's reasons for the high cost of living we are all experiencing throughout the world. In Scotland we are paying nearly $12.00 an imperial gallon for diesel and $10.00 for petrol. Great truthful video. We need more use of fossil fuels until we can derive an other source or way of using fossil fuels.

    14. @ Outdoors with The Morgans. MIKE !!!! That is the most awesome analysis of the dynamics of the entire situation…and I appreciate the dispassionate cool eyed non political view.. But as you pointed out just as things could have stabilized political influences went out of there way to knowingly disrupt the process with pandemic shut downs and the instilling of fear and panic to foster their “agenda”. Florida’s resistance to that concept went along way to expose that propaganda and fraud…
I fully realize you must as a public person, stand away from any of that politicization , but as a citizen who is aware, to not consider the causes and effects of other than core ingredients .. Your summation of the absolute necessity of petroleum is iron bound fact !! And the fact that we have resources that would give us a 10,000 year supply .. lead me to believe we’d best be re-educating those crippled minds that would be better served correcting peripheral abuses than killing the goose that lays the golden eggs…

    15. Excellent discussion of real domestic pressures Mike! You do such a good neutral job of dispelling political BS from both the right and left. I would add that a couple of factors from the international scene. You talked about domestic "over" production lowering prices but also remember that at that time the OPEC nations and Russia agreed not to reduce production knowing that it would cause prices to drop and lower US drilling profits and hurried the bankruptcies along. When consumption began to drop because of the pandemic Russia and OPEC had a little tiff about lowering production (Russia's entire economy is now based on oil sales) but OPEC went ahead and made record production cuts in April 2020. When demand went back up as we started to come out of quarantine OPEC did not increase production causing pressure on prices. Now add back in the normal war jitters created by the Russian invasion and you come to today's prices. Now we need a guy like you to come up with a solution! Whatever the long term solution is we need to make sure that ALL of our energy needs are met by domestic sources whether that is oil, natural gas, coal, wood, solar, wind, water or others. We just can't rely on other countries to play nice.
