Gita Gopinath interview: India’s retail inflation surged to an eight-year high of 7.79 per cent in April on annual basis. The retail inflation accelerated mainly due to stubbornly high food prices.
    The retail inflation stayed well above the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) upper tolerance limit for a fourth consecutive month.

    2. I hate it when she says you as India! India is your county too, even though India doesn't provide dual citizenship!!! You are always bound to your mother country, no matter at what level you have reached. Look at her answers, she is not Patriotic at all! She doesn't care about what will happen in India after agreeing to her conditions, rather she more care about the world!

When the Fed considers rate hike ups with an assurance, then the asian economies will be subjected to a currency volatility if their policy rates are not scaling up in tandem with the U.S. This can spark a problem within the asian horizons in raising funds through bonds. There is a probability of economies of emerging nations to be scaled down in view of funds constraint. In this respect, there is likely to be a regional syndrome in relation to a negative growth.
