Sounds more like speculating than investing. More book value/fundamental analysis please. A company with no debt is bad, they should have a healthy amount of leverage to maximize their money.

when evaluating a particular mining stock, do YOU use P/E ratios etc like regular Dow jones stocks for analysis or do you look at different data to make your decision? Obv I don't consider this financial advice π

You had great references Miningstock (Bill is da man) Education, Cambridge House, VRIC, MIF, PDAC, Gwen Preston, of course Rick Rule. Time spent understanding the LaSsonde curve is vital. You eluded to it, but streamer also fit into juniors, mid tier, majors. In junior relm check out ELYGF and EMX both on sale. This sector is volatile! 20% swings is not uncommon. Iβve both hit doubles in a month, and got a 40% haircut- Iβd say NOT a average buy and hold, more like an active investor. Hit double, take profit on half, enjoy the no risk Katusa free ride

Iβve moved my βfun moneyβ (on Robinhood β the money I can control thatβs not locked in a government retirement account) into Sandstorm and a few other royalty coβs; metalla, osisko, maverix), and also into uranium (cameco, dennison, urg, uec, and uuuu) because supposedly uranium has got to go up over the next 5 years due to supply shortages and low powerplant inventories.
I figure $10K in Robinhood spread about 50/50 gold royalty and uranium and weβll see what the heck happens! And I think you and I are about the same age and risk tolerance ππΌπΊπΈ

Would you consider doing a video based on how Gold and Silver coin prices should change based on how the spot price goes up and down. After seeing the price action on Friday, with Gold and Silver being down significantly, what do you think we should look for from the major on-line coin sellers? After all why paid a higher premium price over spot if the spot price has come down significantly!
A good YouTube channel to keep up with the miners is Cambridge House.
For some diversification, I like the GOAU ETF. It holds a formula-driven portfolio of miners and streamers. The formula is based on expenses, debt level, and rates of return for each company in its portfolio.
As for an individual miner in the silver space, I like First Majestic (ticker symbol AG).
Metal Royalty and Streams , have tanked hard like every stock..

Are you going to post which of this companies you actually choose for your 10k. I mean Barrick and sandstorm are my guesses. But how much risk are you allocating to the region of the world that the Hod Maden is in. I mean there neighbors aren't exactly super friendly to each other. Do you ever just play the GLD the spread on that alone can make you some money like last week for example?
Be careful with your choices. Living in Canada our stock markets are heavily laden with resource companies to choose from. I have won and lost in this arena before. If you really want a hot stock pick check out BABY on the TSX.v totally off subject but will be on fire.
