Cardano is not going to make it (from business perspective). The word (blockchain) is very different place when was when they started.

Dan, you hit the mark about your statement on TPS. Fan boys with no clue rave on about how my chain does million TPS but your chain does one TPS but in all reality is it such a big deal ? If under load can the chain complete the transactions in a timely and efficient manner if that means 1 TPS then I am okay with this. Obviously as a ecosystem grows you need to be able to scale to ensure congestion does not become an issue. Cardano 2022 is all about scalability and Vasil is only 1 of 11 upgrades which will improve efficiency on the Cardano chain. I want a reliable and tested network rather than one that intermittently has to shut down or cannot scale to manage future load. People who FUD on Cardano do so out of fear or ignorance that they do not take the time to research Cardano. Yes Cardano does take its time to upgrade but when it does it is tested and tested again before launch on mainnet no rollback or shutdown required. The story of the tortoise and the hare is how Cardano compares to all other layer 1's. People laugh and poke fun at Cardano and it's community and throw parties as they believe their investment is taking them to the moon. Meanwhile Cardano slowly and methodically keeps chugging along doing what it does best. LUNA has fallen to the wayside and there will be be more before this bear market turns. All I can say is I am happy to have invested in Cardano so early and whether it is 2025 or beyond I am sure Cardano will still be here, can you say the same of the rest ?

The fed will not tighten beyond a total of about 100 BP. They can't, the interest on the US Dept is about $300 billion for every 100 BP. They will choose to inflate and blame everything and everybody but the FED and the current administration policy.

I remember hearing a story about a lady that was over weight and her husband was concerned about her health. He said she should use a step counter each day and show it to him at the end of the day. So because her health was causing problems in the relationship she decided each day she would go take the dog to park and count steps. She attached the step counter to the dog and let the dog run. The wife had not reduced weight but the husband was happy because of the amount of steps she was doing each day. Maybe these people who beat you in the sweat walk own dogs 😅

Cardano is fast and cheap, but when a major NFT collection is released and load goes above 95% (I’ve seen it at 99%) it can take hours to complete transactions and sometimes they fail. This upgrade and later Hydra will – from what I understand – keep cardano cheap, and make it capable of becoming not only one of the most decentralised but also the fastest (most scaleable) blockchain by allowing each staking pool to process 1000TPS so with 3000 pools – that’s 3,000,000TPS – solana and VISA are what 65,000TPS?

I'm using cardano every day.. transactions take seconds, swaps on dexes too. I sometimes just swap some stuff for fun:-p. I'm not big into défi, but with NFT's i even make a decent amount.. with the staking rewards it's a nice plus..
