  1. "Rough"? How about devastating to businesses, workers and anyone on a strict budget.
    The only transition millions will face is, their money to the flush of the economic toilet !

  2. The highest gas was in 2008 at $4.11/gal, which would be $5.36/gal in 2022 after inflation (unless you just don't believe in inflation, and a dollar in 2008 is the same in 2022). So, no, we haven't reached 'record high' gas prices yet. You know what is at a record high? The amount spent on fuel for recreational and leisure purposes.
