Inflation skyrockets to 40-year high as food, gas prices soar



President Biden addressed the inflation crisis in a briefing at the Port of Los Angeles Friday. CBS News senior White House and political correspondent Ed O’Keefe reports.

    sold my house in Oregon during their summer of love, fire bombing and riots. I moved to the Ozark mountains where I now how my own cattle, chickens, goats and butchered 2 hogs I raised. I have a green house and did this all in a year and a half. Create your own food security. Be sure to get property that has its own well or access to water.

    Putin's gas hike? Wait, I thought we were the ones that cut off Russia gas? And wasn't it the Biden administration that said they would 'get rid' of big oil? Isn't this all part of the plan? Unless they didn't know the consequences of their actions? What did they think would happen when they got rid of gas and oil?

    JOE BIDEN is a LOSER and the DEMOCRATS are LOSERS! We are in this mess, because this country is now consumed with HATE. The people who voted for Biden, did so because they HATED Trump, despite him being the best man for the job. When you make decisions based on EMOTIONS, things never work out right. Americans are going to suffer for the bad decision they made in November 2020 and all the politicians who helped this INCOMPETENT man take the White House in 2020, will end up paying with their jobs.

    ENERGY is the foundation on which everything is ran…Joe Biden's first move as President, was to ATTACK our Energy infrastructure…he immediately canceled the Keystone XL Pipeline…with no care in the world for those 14,000+ jobs he killed with the stroke of a pen. So anyone who thinks this man cares about the suffering Americans are going through as a result of inflation, is a straight up FOOL. Democrats want Americans to suffer…they think the more we suffer, the more we are going to agree with their RIDICULOUS policies. REPUBLICANS shouldn't pass ANYTHING they propose…because this is what they want…to make things bad enough to force Republicans to vote for their continued STUPIDITY. AGreeing to what Democrats want to do, would be like pouring gasoline on a burning fire. The only things FOOLS are good at, is blaming everyone else when they fail.

    Ukraine invasion wouldnt have effected us as much, if not for the executive orders ending new sources of fuel for the US. Anyone find it funny that Biden signed away the Keystone XL, but pushed for the Nord Stream 2 in Europe. We’re reaping what the democrats sowed. Funny also how they keep trying to push the focus away from their terrible job.
