China has Built 30 New COAL Plants, for their Energy Needs! And they are planning to Build up to 40+ New COAL BURNING PLANTS!
Here, almost all Electric Cars are Charged with COAL BURNING PLANTS!
Under BOBOs plan, on getting RID of ALL FOSSIL FUEL, this means getting rid of COAL, NATURAL GAS AND NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS!
EVERYTHING WILL POWERED BY WINDMILLS AND SOLAR PANELS!
China, Russia, India and North Korea DONT care about FOSSIL FUELS and What it is doing to the Planet!
Nobody talks about the fuel used to ship cr*p from China that we can't/won't build domestically.
Hydrogen is the next economic power move
Politicians and car manufacturers, pushing EV saying is the future. No more relying on petrol, but what they're not telling the public is the amount of resources used to make them, especially the batteries. Also the amount of electricity consumed by EV is much higher. Here in California they're are telling the public to cut down on using electricity and water. In my opinion I think politicians and automakers are all about $$$ not environmentally friendly.
We should seek alternative government sources.
If our government invested in nuclear fusion like they do our military, we would of had the technology decades ago.
I clicked on this because I saw cheap gas prices of only $4.37 in the thumbnail!
YES, YES, YES !!! Nuclear power is the cleanest, safest, most efficient source of electric power
What we need to do is stop building our cities the way we do. We're too defendant on cars compared to other first world nations. Ironically, they're the ones that beat us on QOL too.
And if we get another drastic change in government it may go back the opposite way .
And how many politicians are getting filthy rich on high oil prices!
So if we simply build our own little electric vehicles in our own communities and power them with solar panels, with batteries that we can print here, then we can walk away from the whole mess of the fossil fuel grid and go to where we've always needed to go for pollution and oil spills and the crooked oil Lords that it empowers, distributed generation where we can charge all of our little phone batteries and laptop batteries and smart TV batteries.
Right now oil companies are enjoying 70-year high profit margins, and they can put the gas prices where they want to because so few people control so much of that fossil fuel energy.
Distributed generation is the best way to stick it to Russia and China and all the other dictators that build their power on oil.
80% of everyone's use of fossil fuel vehicles can be transferred over to electric, quickly easily and very cost-effectively. If we build it ourself here.
We don't see more aggressive rules people don't care. And if people don't government won't either.
You have to look at the life cycle analysis, the amount of carbon in the construction is enormous, you have to compute that per kilowatt or megawatt hour.
And you have to look at the carbon and costs of storing or disposing of the waste over thousands of years, let's see a $20 an hour security guard over 10,000 years and looks like that cheap clean energy is really expensive.
How many people in the world are reprocessing it because they figured out it's not cost-effective? Just ask France who threw a bunch of billions away trying to make that work

The life path of fossil fuels, pay someone to go places measure things and figure out where to send many more people
Fossil fuel companies profit margins are at a 70 year high, does that mean definitively the trickle down economics don't work? All those tax breaks that have been shifting wealth upwards more dramatically passed under Trump have helped increase those profit margins yet savings are not trickling down on the American public, but I know what has been trickling down on the American public from the oil producers. Lots of metals vaporized in the air, lots of extra asthma, lots of making the worst people rich.

How much oil is used to move oil around, or the bigger question how many fossil fuels are used to move fossil fuels around? I'm sure many small countries worth
Simple solar panels charging swappable batteries, goodbye grit as we know it and hello independence from oil wars
The fact we don't have enough refineries to process the oil makes me really mad. If one refinery has a problem , gas will skyrocket.
80% of the world's population lives by the ocean, offshore wind farms are the most efficient clean energy in the world and have the quickest payback.
We're saving our oil? We've dumped more from the Emergency Reserves than ever before. Scotty Nuclear ain't happening. Battery Cars isn't happening, Wind and Solar isn't happening. Expect 1/4 the population to die to achieve what is desired. I see a future with the Elite white people in fancy cars being serviced by the brown people who take mass transit.
Nuclear is the way.
We need Trump back.
Here's a dumb question: Instead of burning more money and energy to force everyone into EV's, why not just promote working from home? Half the workforce (specifically office workers) really doesn't need to be at the job, to do their work. So, they would not need to drive. About 90% of our gas is burned during commuting. That could be cut in half! For those who still need to physically commute, like plumbers, mechanics, electricians, etc, they would also realize an energy savings, from not wasting fuel, stuck in traffic. It seems like such a simple solution. And, the past couple years have proven it to be viable. So, why is THIS not being discussed? Could there be a different agenda?
