    Joint press conference of EU leaders and Ukrainian President Zelenskyy in Kyiv | DW News



    French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi and Romanian President Klaus Iohannis met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in person for the first time since Russia invaded Ukraine. Zelenskyy received the four leaders at the presidential palace in Kyiv. They are expected to take part in a joint press conference.

      Kremlin trolls out in force in the comment stream today…. click on any post (You'll recognize the candidates by their tone very easily) you choose, …. shell YouTube accounts in abundance. Clearly unhappy with this (hopefully consequential) meeting, …poor babies. Have your team bomb a few more hospitals and residential apartment buildings , perhaps you'll feel better.

      Oh Zelenskyy is admired by all making money from war, for not taking the easy road out by announcing separation from NATO, and not have NATO based in Ukraine. This is what Russia asked for in the beginning, so as to not conduct an incursion into Ukraine. Any fool knows there is nothing to be made out of no war. Hence we’ve got a lovely military adventure happening lots of $$$$ for all. Everybody happy, TV talk host midgets most under 26 years old hold court with their well rehearsed talking points. The general public is getting tired and weary of it all. People are dying every day. Media doesn’t care as long as the ratings hold.

      personal excessive wealth ($millions) in offshore accounts in order to
      evade paying taxes.

      All other NATO leaders have visited Ukraine a couple of times. Boris Johnson is in Kyiv to meet Zelensky.

      Approving $40 B and promising help is great for Ukrainians, but only quick delivery of requested weapons will work out.

      Ukraine announced: Many innocent kids and civilians dead in Donbass and other cities. Many places, even chemical factories are under heavy shelling.

      UN: humanitarian situation is extremely alarming. That's all from the UN!

      German Greens are single handedly working to de-industrialized Germany. Previous Germany gvts for 3 decades working to make Germany as industrial power house within Europe. British and rest of EU Envious, jealous of German succuss. How did this happen – Cheap plentiful Russia gas and raw resources.

      How quickly leadership can make or break a countries future fortune -why is the German public allowing Olaf scholz and Annalena Baerbock to commit suicide by unconditional support for Ukraine. ?

      Is Ukraine worth it by sacrificing Germany and de-industrializing Germany by cutting off German nose off their own face by sticking a finger at Russian cheap gas ? any logic in this strategy – DO let me and many know ?

      The west have made grave mistakes such as dependencies on Russian oil and now have coward behind that dependency while the people of Ukraine suffer torture and death.
      The west, thinking they could lure Marxist Social Communist countries into freedom through trade have become sedative by the political power and monetary growth that lined their pockets, they have lost sight of initially protecting freedoms of the world.
      Putin is exploiting this weakness.
      Until we get leaders that are willing to pull their balls out of Putin's purse, our freedoms are in jeopardy.

      The "peace-in-our-time" Axis finally showed up (minus the fascist-appeasing Austrians). Better late then never. Now, put your money where your mouth is, Axis. Especially Collaborator Macron, who dared to tell the Ukrainians to cede territory while their country lies in ruins, with entire cities flattened, a diaspora underway, and while they are uncovering the mass graves of their kinfolk.

      Stop lying. The Ukrainian Military spent 8 years shelling Ukraine and its people before Putin ever came in to clean up DC's mess.
