    I guess if you got 60Bands laying around for a TSLA…. You gotta realize the Majority of people do not have that type of money and even if they did, they prefer cheaper cars… If someone else makes a 30k EV then of course they will get beat in sales.

    Kevin, Elon has major political pressure to be pro-China anything. The Chinese Communist Party has ruffled Elon's feathers with unjust policies a time or two just to send a message. Elon is secretly rolling his eyes at China/Chinese government becoming the new leader in the world order while cautiously not getting on their bad side.

    First of all, it takes many years (about 10) for a lithium mining company to advance through the exploration and development phases before they ever start producing. And the size of their resource and projected annual production is is a known quantity. In other words, THERE ARE NO SUDDEN SURPRISES ON THE SUPPLY END OF MINING PRODUCTION. The factor that is unknown is demand. In the case of lithium, demand is going to exceed supply for quite a few years unless EV production grows much, much slower than current projections which is very unlikely.

    Tesla is facing the most vibrant competition from all manufactures from all over the world. Tesla will face even higher limiting factors on raw materials with so many manufactures getting in/converting to Electric. Tesla can't ramp up production to meet demand at this point thus allowing the competition to get in front.

    Nickel mining is even more important than lithium as lithium batteries use about ten times the amount of nickel as lithium. $BHP is a good miner and pays a 12% dividend to wait.
