Wrong…the government can hack it. P/S boxes are used in Ciper Cryptology. MSCE (focus in Info Sec) degree one of my professors mentioned the NSA came back and said (SHA-256? maybe….been a few years) they had to take out a few of these boxes in the process before the ciper was approved. These boxes make hacking exponentially harder. So why would the NSA with the most powerful computing tools at it's fingertips want an encryption algorithm to be easier to crack? Can anyone think of ANY reason a spy organization wouldn't want your data protected past a certain computational point? Anyone?!?
