  1. I don't agree with your analysis, Russia has always been a reliable gas supplier, western sanctions were never properly thought through, you all thought Russia was not going to retaliate because it was a gas station county but you are shocked now. Too much posturing bt with no real alternative.

  2. Russian is right the west is wrong because their all thinks sanctions is going affect Russian than the ball turns around them.
    We are not in 1450
    The has changed their expectations

  3. Im firmly on ukraines side but this is on germanys and other eu politicians, since 2008 russia have been invading other countries and annexing land.
You cant play both sides, including sweden (my country) and get surprised when russia cut supplies.
We shouldnt have used their gas and oil from the start.

  4. even china doesn’t trust russia. china imports only 20% of its oil from russia. china also imports more oil from iraq, saudi, iran, Venezuela, Qatar and so on.

  5. Germany closed their airspace to weapons deliveries to Ukraine.
    Putin isn't showing much gratitude.
One would've thought German perfidy deserved better.

  6. EU should create a robust system of managing natural gas within EU, in terms of distribution, transport and storage. Natural gas has to be seen not only as energy source (which currently is, in proportion) but also as industrial commodity (raw material).

Enough storage should be built (near where it enters EU or in key distribution points).

We’ve suppliers in the north (Norway, Russia…. ahh wait scrap Russia) and suppliers in the Mediterranean, what we need is a storage and a rail system to transport LNG between north and Mediterranean and vice-versa. This way if one supplier is not meeting its contracts, industry would not be impacted because options of alternative suppliers or storage from within EU.

Creating wagons proper for secure LNG transport wouldn’t be difficult I think.

Rail as transport because of relatively weather resilience. Security should be considered, where rails go densely populated areas, alternative route should be found, or closely watched transit should be considered.

Medium term / long term build pipelines crossing Europe.

This need urgent political action and support. This should be an EU project because its goes beyond any national strategy, drive and leadership.

In parallel keep in the agenda the drive towards renewables.

  7. In Europe there a number of countries which still have lots of coal power plants.

And even about powering up coal power plants that had been switched off, Germany is not the only country doing this. For example, UK did this right after the Glasgow summit.

  8. Germany should change its course and protect its own interests and citizens first rather than following the dictates of USA which can afford gas and oil due to their natural resources available with them

  9. Acts 17:30 The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent, 31 because he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by Jesus Christ the Lord whom he has appointed; and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead.”

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, tyhrough the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Acts 16:30 Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” And they said, “Believe in the Lord be saved, you and your household.

Repent and trust Jesus Christ as your Saviour and your Lord. True repentance involves a change of heart which includes sorrow for sin and determination to lead a holy life.

Christ deliver the repentant person from sin's penalty by dying on the cross. If not, you will be judged by the law, no one can be justified by law as all of us have transgressed the law one way or the other.

Seek the Lord Jesus while he may be found and turn away from sins and turn to him wholeheartedly as he is coming back to judge the world. Revelation 22: 11 Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy. 12“Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done.

Grace and love from God in Jesus Christ be multiplied in your heart you all

  10. Germany acting on orders from US Overlords voted to sanction Russia…..
After Russia was removed from the scene the US offered to deliver LNG at 3X Russian Price….
If Russia cuts Germans off completely as Putin suggests is coming in September, will Germans notice the futility of supporting the US GDP with their Consumers Dollars?
There was some discussion of Germans having superior work ethics, their ability to understand that the Citizens of Germany and France may complain about paying the price for US Overpriced LNG, on the other hand, seems a bit limited?
The choice has been offered to Western Powers…..
If they choose wisely Germans remain warm and pay a reasonable amount for Gazprom fuel.
If they agree to allow the US to exploit European Consumers, they may be broke as well as cold this winter…..
