Canada’s foreign affairs minister, Mélanie Joly, announced new sanctions against Russian agents and organizations, with a focus on Russian disinformation efforts and industrial manufacturing. But the federal government also said it will grant ‘a time-limited and revocable permit’ to Siemens Canada that allows for the return of a turbine to Germany.

Why? Russia can use it in Crimea or somewhere else. You can’t trust it at all.
I think Canada should trust our German Allies. If they say they need the turbine, they need the turbine. They are doing what they can to help.
I find it unfair to lay the blame on Canada when Canada's main concern in its decision was Germany and their people. If Ukraine wants to blame anyone, blame Germany for needing Russian gas to survive!

The blooded hands of the German people must make them sick in the guts. Desperate attempts to move away from russia are what the Country has to make. At the moment the Germans are paying in part for putins bloody war, whilst saying No to Ukraine. Not a good picture for the world to see. 🇬🇧
What about climate change, doesn't Germany care about the environment? I think less gas use by 40% next winter would help the environment, and Germany. 🙂
