But the federal government also said it will grant ‘a time-limited and revocable permit’ to Siemens Canada that allows for the return of a turbine to Germany.

    1. I think Canada should trust our German Allies. If they say they need the turbine, they need the turbine. They are doing what they can to help.

    2. I find it unfair to lay the blame on Canada when Canada's main concern in its decision was Germany and their people. If Ukraine wants to blame anyone, blame Germany for needing Russian gas to survive!

    3. Shame! My vote will go for Pierre Polievre! Open Canadian pipe lines , bring money to Canadians , and help Ukraine, isolate rusia , let them enjoy their dictatorship! Glory to Ukraine!

    4. The blooded hands of the German people must make them sick in the guts. Desperate attempts to move away from russia are what the Country has to make. At the moment the Germans are paying in part for putins bloody war, whilst saying No to Ukraine. Not a good picture for the world to see. 🇬🇧

    5. What about climate change, doesn't Germany care about the environment? I think less gas use by 40% next winter would help the environment, and Germany. 🙂

    6. Canadian goberment will say anything in its defense to make its self look good instead of being honest and upfront about anything…… so embaressing and pathetic.

    7. Lol we are such a weak nation in every aspect socially militarily and we are terrible with economics.
Tuesday Wednesday Canada says we WILL NOT allow the turbine to go back to due sanctions.
Rogers goes down Friday leading to 25% of the entire country down. Saturday Canada agrees to send the Russia gas Turbine back… hmm
