While NFTs are a relatively new technology for many, the major groundwork for how NFTs function has existed and been used by people for a considerably decent amount of time. If you have ever bought a character skin in a game like Fortnite or Counter-Strike, you have essentially experienced what it is like to buy an NFT and why there is value in owning “digital goods”. The ability to have self-expression and “show-off” your cool skins to your friends are the very same appeals people have with NFTs. Not to mention all the real world benefits that will be attached to NFTs like free burritos from chipotle if you own the gold burrito NFT! #Shorts

    1. An NFT is just a digital deed or a letter of authenticity backed by a block chain. It makes perfect sense. Its just a way of authenticating digital goods.

      "Who cares if its authentic? i can just have my artist friend copy the signature for free."

    2. that's literally the best explanation on NFT that you can get, I've read like dozens of articles and watched like 10-20 minute explanation videos but this 60 second video not otly perfectly explained, but also opened my mind how to make NFT

    3. I was opportune to met Thomas last week for the first time at a conference in Manchester, I invested £25,000 and traded in one month making £300,700

    4. Shitty explanation, didn't say what an NFT is.

      NFT ==> being registered as the owner of an image within a blockchain (a digital registry). No practical utility on the real world what so ever, at least with current uses.

    5. We’ll the fact that I don’t give a shit about any skins I spent money on in csgo, and that are not worth anything anymore is a prime example to my of why nfts are stupid

    6. Here are the very basic fundamentals on how to spot a scam. Ranging from key words that have no meaning, on the creating pressure by imprinting urgency to buy one. Some people have put money and they are waiting more the crowd to do it so they cash out.

    7. NFT’s explained from a non biased person;

      “HEY! Did you do a naughty crime and you have too much dirty money and want to make it clean? We’ll look no further. Make your own cool Jpeg image, buy it and boom! Your filthy money is now clean 😁”
