  1. Love the gold, I agree when selling you can get the premium back however it depends on how you sell if you get that premium back, like poker it’s all about patients and timing 👍😀

  2. Pretty sure that's the first year of fractional krugerand. Congrats on getting a full ozt. Krugerands are 91.6% pure. 1/4ozt is what I'm talking about. I haven't gotten a 1/10th for that cheap but I'm hoping I can beat that this month assuming I'm gonna come up short for the 1/4. We'll see.

  3. That's awesome!!!! Always pay your debt down first. I'm a single dad and paid everything off except my house and have a little over 8 Oz's of gold. Silver is my checking account and gold is my retirement account

  4. Nice. Look at the metal composition between the different coins. Krugerrand = 91.67% gold and 8.33% copper. AGE = 91.67% gold, 3% silver, 5.33% copper. I like the variety you have, for sure, but am a little leery of the premiums. I was looking at the new 1/25 ounce Philharmonics and then did the quick math. Those premiums added over over $760. to the spot price on a per ounce basis. (Apmex). Where do you think gold prices are headed?

  5. Yeah, I love my 1/10th ounce Gold coins. I think I've purchased over 50 of those, but they aren't all mine. Some of them I've put away for my son, and some for a few others who I know will end up needing them, but I still buy them whenever I can come up with the coin (hahaha!). Lately though, I've been focused on 1/4th ounce Gold Eagles. I'm trying to fill up a Nickel coin tube with 1/4th ounce Gold Eagles. As for the color differences between Eagles and Krugerrands, it's because of the mix of metals we use to make the alloy. The Gold Eagle is 91.67% Gold / 3% Silver / 5.33% Copper, but the Krugerrand is 91.67% / 8.33% Copper, which gives it a bit of a darker look. Both are a full 1/10th of an ounce of Gold, so they weigh more than 1/10th of a troy ounce, but they are both 22k Gold, which is what I like. The 24k Gold is okay, but you really can't handle it as much as you can the 22k, which is the alloy they created for circulation. If I'm gonna stack Gold, I'm mostly going to be stacking Gold that can handle circulation, though I have purchased a few Maple Leafs in my time. Great video! My suggestion for the future would be to try to create a way to insulate your stack from future high-dollar purchases like a house. The strategy that has helped me has been to 1) Stack cash, specifically for the purpose of insulating my stack. 2) Stack some cash for emergencies as well. 3) Slowly build a Silver stack that is made up specifically of Silver you're willing to sell. So for example, if you find some slicked out Walking Liberty Half Dollars at spot or below, maybe pick those up and throw those into your sellable Silver, since they aren't in the best condition but will still bring in some money for you. And just add 5 or 10 ounces to that each year. Before you know it, you've got 50 or 60 ounces of Silver that you can sell in a pinch and might keep you from having to dip into your actual core stack of the monetary metals. Just advice though…you stack your way!
